As large as Monterey County’s agriculture is – it’s as varied and includes not just leafy greens but also fruits and fresh fish! We’ll take you to Moss Landing and check out a nautical themed bed and breakfast – owned and operated by a real ship captain. We’ll also meet Vince Gizdich of Gizdich Ranch in Watsonville, California. Vince shows us the do’s and don’ts when picking your own fruit. We’ll end our tour in Moss Landing with world famous fish guy Phil DiGirolamo and learn how to crack a crab like a pro at Phil’s Fish Market & Eatery. This week’s Ag Traveler, Melanie Kim takes us to the central coast to see what it has to offer.
