Farm Stay III

This is Pat McConahay’s third venture to a Bed and Breakfast experience with a farming connection. The owners of the Vineyard Inn in Pt. Reyes Station, Sharon and Steve Doughty, spoiled her.

The Vineyard Inn features a working dairy and a successful vineyard. The wine tasting room allows guests to taste the fruits of the Doughty’s labor. And the Inn’s three tastefully decorated rooms provide breathtaking views of the Point Reyes National Seashore.

The Doughty’s enterprise contributes to an emerging industry in California called agritourism…travel associated with farming. Pat McConahay is doing her best to keep agritourism alive and thriving. You can look forward to more farm stay features in future episodes of California Heartland.

For more information about the Vineyard Inn, you may contact the Inn at the address listed below.
