Farm Trails

If you’d like to set a new tradition for your family’s summer vacation, you might want to follow in Pat McConahay’s footsteps. She traveled up and down the Sonoma County Farm Trails, visiting three different locations.

The first stop was Pelikan Farms in Sebastopol. Ellyn Pelikan, Office Manager of the Sonoma County Farm Trails, operates this 2 ½-acre flower farm.

When Pat hit the road again, the next stop was also in Sebastopol at the O’Brien Iris Garden. You can stroll among 750 different varieties of irises.

Angelo Ibleto’s Meats was another must stop on Pat’s farm trail journey. In Petaluma, this friendly man has been producing jerky and smoked meats for 25 years.

There are more than 90 stops on the Sonoma County Farm Trails. For more information, contact the Sonoma County Farm Bureau at (707) 544-5575.
