| Mendocino County Fair
The California Heartland crew visited the 1998 Mendocino County Fair & Apple Show in Boonville. This event is known for its country style flair. The emphasis is on teaching people, especially children, about the history of agriculture in the Anderson Valley. Many years ago apple growing was the main industry. Now just a few growers remain. For an event that began simply as an apple show, the Mendocino County Fair has clearly evolved into a tradition. A tradition that keeps a small piece of Anderson Valley history alive year after year. If you would like to attend the 1999 Mendocino County Fair & Apple Show, the dates are September 17-19, 1999.
