| Corn Maze Are you looking for a one of a kind adventure? Why not try a corn maze! We visited the MAiZE in Woodland that was carved into 300,000 towering corn stalks. With two miles of twists and turns, this life size puzzle challenges visitors of all ages. It takes most people about an hour to reach the finish line. But, if you make all the correct turns you can actually get through in just fifteen minutes! Its not very likely though, just ask the co-owner of the corn maze Chad Williams. He says, "Oh yeah, I got lost in there quite often early on as we were trying to get used to the paths." The maze design was created by computer technology and then plotted out on 8 acres of land owned by Heidrick Farms. Next, Chad and his business partner spent several days carving the maze. Finally, the maze craze began through a partnership with the Heidrick Ag History Center. The MAiZE will return to Woodland on September 10, 1999. For more information, call the Heidrick Ag History Center at (530) 666-9700. If you cant wait until then, we found another corn maze in Camarillo that will be open to the public on approximately June 26, 1999. It will be located at 305 W. Hueneme Road in Camarillo.
