The 200-acre farm shows how farming was done before high tech equipment edged out manual labor. Ardenwood, once owned by wealthy farmer George Patterson, was named after a forested area described in William Shakespeare's As You Like It. The Patterson home at Ardenwood is a Victorian farmhouse stocked with period furniture dating back more than 100 years.
